Natural Zing were kind enough to send me products to sample and review. I was more than happy to do so. I’ve heard so many great things about this company, so I was elated to have been sent products from them. They sent me their authentic goji berries, truly raw carob powder and botija “purple” olives.
About Natural Zing
Natural Zing is a family-owned business, based in the mid-Atlantic region. They have been around since 2003, and since then, they have been providing their customers with satisfaction, integrity and quality. All their products are organic, raw vegan, non-GMO, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, plant-based, paleo/vegan, and vegetarian-friendly. The company goes out their way for their customers, by searching the entire world for high-quality products. They are a company whom truly cares about the planet and giving back.
Natural Zing sells over 1,500 products from over 100 of the best organic raw vegan food manufactures, and are the largest distribution for organic raw vegan foods. They work directly with organic food manufacturers and organic farmers, so you know you’re getting the best of the best, high-quality products.
They sell an array of products on their store, ranging from superfoods to dried fruits, to cereals, raw nuts and seeds, appliances, books, supplements, and even personal care — there’s a wide selection of healthy options to choose from! Whatever you buy, just know you’re getting quality.
Their carob powder is truly raw and wildcrafted, and has a unique taste and consistency. Carob is a natural chocolate alternative. It has a sweet taste, and tastes nothing like chocolate. Their carob powder has small pieces inside, probably because its wildcrafted.
I’ve used their carob powder to make brownies and ice cream. This was my first time trying carob powder, and I’ll be writing a post on 0med0 about the health benefits of carob, and the difference it has compared to cacao.
Olives
Natural Zing olives are very yummy! They’re fresh, raw, organic, peruvian, and pure. Unlike most olives that are typically ‘cured’ with chemicals, such as tap water, salt ad oils — Natural Zing’s olives are pure and cured simply with water and sea salt. You can truly taste the freshness in their olives, it’s amazing. You definitely taste the quality in their olives.
Olives are a great addition to salads, wraps, pia, and other gourmet foods. I love olives, and they’re one of my favorite fruits. If you don’t already, here are 10 reasons why you should.

Goji Berries
Unfortunately, some goji berries on the market aren’t authentic, considering the fact that most of them grow in China. While Natural Zing goji berries grow in Tibetan (which neighbors areas of China, India, and Nepal), their goji berries are unique from the rest.
According to Natural Zing’s website, here’s what they have to say about Tibetan goji berries and Chinese Wolfberries…
“The Tibetan Goji Berry is not to be confused with the Chinese Wolfberries becoming more and more available. The Tibetan Goji Berry comes in 16 oz bags. The Chinese Wolfberry may be grown with pesticides in depleted soil, dyed red, sulfured and irradiated. The Chinese Wolfberry may be more expensive too.”
I like their goji berries. It’s sweet and yummy. If you’ve tried goji berries before, you know they’re a bit firm and chewy. Natural Zing goji berries were different from the goji berries I’ve bought at my local store a couple of times. You can see and taste the ‘freshness’, considering their products are made with quality.
Goji berries are so versatile. I add them into my smoothies, desserts (ice cream, brownies, bars, etc) and eat as a snack by the handful. There are many different ways you can enjoy goji berries. Soaked goji berries are the best, because they’re soft, sweeter and more enjoyable, for me.
Goji berries are an amazing superfood. It provides a rich source of antioxidants, promotes longevity, anti-aging, great source of vitamins A, C and E, high in nutrients, and many more! Check out the amazing health benefits of goji berries here.
My dad made this delicious superfood carob brownies, using Natural Zing carob powder and goji berries. Stay tuned for the recipe coming up next!
I love Natural Zing, and one of my favorite health food store/sources for buying organic raw food products. You can order their products on their website or purchase them at an organic raw vegan cafe (like Arnold’s Way). I highly recommend that you check out their website and read about them. Natural Zing are amazing.

Their overall food labels and packaging needs to be revamping. Buying is a visual experience and if I don’t like the packaging, I move on. Less is more as far as package design is concerned.
I agree with you 100%. Packing is everything and the big corporations know about marketing and packaging big time, as they do a great job to get people to buy their products.
