Jade Yoga Mat Product Review

The wonderful people over at Jade Yoga were kind enough to send me their yoga mat so I can review it. I love yoga. I the way it makes me feel, and it’s amazing for the mind, body and soul. But did you know, the yoga mat we use for yoga can impact our health, body, mind, and soul?!

Yoga mats contain harmful chemicals, and if you don’t believe me, read this article. The way they are manufactured today is not so eco-friendly because they contain PVC and vinyl chloride, a carcinogen ingredient. Yoga mats also contain Azodicarbonamide, which is a chemical that is used to make shoe rubber and Subway had also used this ingredient in their breads before the Food Babe Army started a revolution.
Azodicarbonamide causes asthma, respiratory issues, and allergies. In short, the yoga mats manufactured today are not eco-friendly, and I was in search for this.
That’s why Jade Yoga Mats stand out from the rest. They plant a tree for every yoga mat sold and their mats are made with organic rubber. Although the mat may have a smell after you open it from the package, but it’s not toxic or harmful, which is a plus. They are a caring company that obviously care about the health of our planet and the health of the people. You can learn more about what they care about here.
I love using my Jade Yoga Mat and if you’re a yogi, I highly recommend buying one of their mats. And lucky for you, for being a loyal reader and follower, they are giving you a 10% off your order by using LOYAL10 at checkout. It’s good for one year and great for U.S. orders only.

And they don’t just sell mats, they also sell towels, blocks for yoga, and more! Check out their shop here.

Namaste.

The most important thing for yoga postures is a yoga mat, always choose that type of yoga mat which is thick and have non-slippery surface. Because the thickness of yoga mat protect every type of physical injury & jerks and non-slippery surface provides you the better grip while performing yoga postures.
